Physical design
(Road design)
Physical design deals with the correlation between area conditions and traffic design requirements. Physical parameters such as longitudinal cross-sections, lateral super-elevations and radii are adjusted during the design stage to the required traffic parameters, such as travel speed, road hierarchy, etc., in order to create optimal and safe design. The water drainage system is also designed as part of this process.
Design teams at our firm deal simultaneously with the physical and the traffic design, an approach that achieves maximum possible coordination.
