Transportation planning and analysis in evaluating traffic impact and, micro-simulations

An important component in the design of road networks, junctions, streets and highways is transportation design.

In order to know whether the traffic volume expected to pass at an intersection or section of road will allow for an acceptable level of service or will bring about failure (traffic congestion, blocked intersections, queues, etc.), a transportation analysis must be carried out to address the issue:

Traffic Analysis

Traffic Imact Studies (TIS)

Traffic forecasts and transportation models

Traffic forecasts and transportation models

Evaluation of transportation-economic feasibility

Computerized mapping and spatial analysis (GIS)

Our firm has a special department for this issue, which makes use of traffic counts, forecasts for transportation models, and many years of experience, to analyze the existing and predicted situation in light of the planned construction in the project and its surroundings, and offers solutions to traffic congestion if expected. Such an analysis is also performed for the purpose of solving existing transportation problems.
