Every driver is familiar with the orange markings, flashing-arrow trailers and black and orange traffic signs that temporarily regulate traffic on urban and intercity roads.

These temporary arrangements accompany the establishment of permanent traffic arrangements: intersections, traffic circles, upgrading existing roads, excavating tunnels and the like.
