Master Plans and Outline Plans

A detailed plan under which permits can be issued is usually based on a plan in a higher hierarchy whether statutory (outline plan) or advisory (master plan). Such plans can be subject-oriented (for example: bicycle paths) or spatial (district, city or neighborhood) and require integrating designers from different specialties.

Our firm prepares such plans in the various aspects of design:

Urban traffic and parking design, transportation design and physical design, and as part of multidisciplinary design teams.

An example of such plans that our firm has designed or has participated in preparing:

East Jerusalem Transportation Master Plan and the Old City Region Master Plan in Jerusalem, a strategic plan for locating land for long-term construction, etc.
